Legal Personnel strives to bring great candidates and exciting job opportunities together.
We believe the key to building a successful relationship is having confidence in the person you have selected to represent you and your interests, being authentic and transparent at each step along the way, and recognising that we each have different aspirations, expectations and pathways when looking for the next step or that right fit.
We apply this philosophy in our relationship with you but also in the relationships we create by matching employers and employees. We look at more than just job specifications and skillsets when assessing our candidates and clients. We look for the right “people fit”. This means we make sure that a candidate’s personal objectives and values line up with culture of the organisation. Legal Personnel has a great reputation for finding perfect matches. We take the time to understand the complex mix of business, professional and career objectives that motivate individuals and companies to succeed. By focussing on these things, we create long-term relationships with our employers and candidates.
Legal Personnel is not your average recruitment agency. We specialise in the legal sector and as such we understand the unique ways that human resources affect a law firm or organisation. We understand not only the technical skills but also the interpersonal skills that allow an individual to be successful in the various roles of a legal career. Whether you are looking to start your legal career, shift paths, or find a new member for your legal team, you have come to the right place.
We offer a wide range of recruitment services from temporary staffing to finding specialist and permanent roles. We provide services to legal professionals looking for work as well as legal entities, from legal firms to corporate or government departments. We can also help supply contractors and temporary staff to help with work backlogs, holidays or for fixed term projects. We help candidates find for themselves what it is they want in a career or job through our career workshops that give clarity and confidence around the career choices they make. This is so employers know when you apply this is the role that you want to do.
Our comprehensive approach to recruitment is why we guarantee that as a candidate, you will get the right position. As an employer, you will get the right person for the job.
We aim to provide you with the resources necessary to put your best foot forward when applying for that next step in your legal career. Looking for help preparing your tailor-made CV or need advice preparing for an interview? We are here to help. We run career workshops that you can attend to get career ready with confidence and clarity. We stay-up-to-date with market information and annual salary surveys, so that you know you are being treated fairly.
There’s more to hiring a great employee than finding someone with a degree or certificate. We can help you evaluate your organisation and to decide which traits would complement your team. We offer tools to help you promote the position and assess the applications you receive. We can provide reliable testing and profiling to help you narrow down the perfect candidate.

We take the time to look outside of ourselves and what we do. Somewhere we can make a difference. As a financial sponsor of Graeme Dingle Foundation and once mentor, we help kids develop a high level of self, grow confidence and give clarity on futures. We find the good and make it great.
We believe in giving back to the community who support us, in the work that we love to do. Graeme Dingle Foundation is our sponsorship of choice. We offer both a financial contribution and have been involved in the mentoring of students with low efficacy and hope that in doing this, we make a difference in someone’s life, for the better.
Graeme Dingle Foundation, founded in 1995 by New Zealanders Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson (previously known as Project K), is a Foundation for Youth Development programme designed to inspire 14-15-year-olds to maximise their full potential. Through the 14-month programme that consists of three core components, Wilderness Adventure, Community Challenge and Mentoring, students learn:
- Team building
- Goal setting
- Good health and life skills
The unique Project K process was developed in consultation with leading educationalists and youth workers and is a catalyst for positive change. Students do not pay to take part in the programme.
